Liftop is the innovative universal manhole covers lifter, which allows a single operator to perform operations on all types of manhole covers easily and safely (also hinged to the frame, with safety lock). Liftop is made of special aluminium alloys and is immediately operational. Its weight of only 9 kg and its small dimensions make Liftop the perfect device to be stored and transported even in vehicles with limited loading space. Liftop adapts to the physical characteristics of the user and the load to be lifted. Attention to posture and safety has allowed Liftop to be the first manhole cover opener in the world to obtain Ergocert ergonomics certification. The system is available in ATEX version for use in ZONE 1 and ZONE 2. Compared to traditional levers and direct pull systems, Liftop guarantees the operator: ✓ a safe distance from the manhole cover during operations, avoiding the risk of falling inside it (very frequent, especially during closing phases); ✓ the upright posture with a push-down manoeuvre, in accordance with safety and ergonomic requirements; ✓ the significant reduction of effort, as it is designed according to the lever principle; ✓ control at all stages of the load being handled, averting the risk of the manhole cover falling into the hatch; ✓ the immediate adjustment of the trolley according to the manhole and the operator; ✓ the smooth movement of the load using the wheels, so as not to incur the risk of dragging operations.
