Vanderlande’s solutions can be used to unload parcels from incoming pallets, cages and roll containers. These vary from traditional manual operations to automated tippers and the use of robots. Each solution is designed to suit individual functions, such as the unloading of regular parcels, irregular items and documents. The efficiency and productivity of the entire operation can only be maximised by integrating: • the (un)loading process from trucks • the flow of full and empty pallets or cages inside the building • carefully designed buffer areas between docks and unloading workstations • and an optional tracking system.
