 VANTERM Modular Hood is used to control and capture the welding smoke and dust in welding-shops.  It fits for all welding processes and particularly the robotic welding applications. MD-Modular Hood avoids the toxic welding-smoke and dust particles, spreading into the production halls.  When Modular Hood is used, a much more effective weldingshop ventilation is achieved with a relative less airflow capacity.  MD-Modular Hood has a very low pressure loss.  The dust collector that should be used with the Modular Hood, requires lower motor power. As a result, the investment- and operating-costs decrease.  Depending on the required airflow capacity, VANTERM AC, KAB and SM model dust collectors can be used with MDModular Hoods.  Easy to transport, in comparison to the conventional type of hoods, due to its compact design.  VANTERM Modular Hood is delivered as disassembled, which reduces transport cost.  Very easy to assemble at site thanks to its modular construction. No need to use any special tool or equipment for the assembly.  VANTERM MD-Modular Hoods can be used in two versions;  As fixed on the ground via 2,0 - 2,5 or 3,0m. high feet. Or;  As fixed to the ceiling via its lifting eyebolts.
