The V500CZ series offers long-stroke hydraulic cylinders for linear movement, with a steel body and a single rod-end (no passing-through rod). The standard version of these cylinders includes piston bores from 25 to 100 mm, and strokes from 20 to 250 mm. Thanks to their line fixings, these cylinders can be installed by means of passing-through holes by according to their lengths, or by means of pinned holes and a key.
Vega Cylinders produces compact hydraulic cylinders for molds. Their main application is moving ejection tables in injection molds. They can also be employed for moving those components—such as carts, pins and plugs—that might cause undercuts in plastic injection molds. Their main strength is the ratio between overall compactness and resistance to very high hydraulic pressures.
The high speed hydraulic cylinder V500CZ features the new SpeedPorts delivery system patented by Vega. The body is made of high-workability steel, and both the rod and the piston are made of high-quality chromium-molybdenum steel with no moils. The cartridge sealing system includes a scraper and two Viton O-rings. These components allow the cylinder sealing system to last over long periods of time. V500CZ cylinders are compatible with ISO VG 46 mineral oils.
The stroke of this heavy duty hydraulic cylinder can be controlled by means of inductive or mechanical switches, and signals can be directly transferred to the injection mold machine. The maximum working temperature is 80° C. for Cylinders with inductive switches, and 180° for mechanical switches. Its maximum working pressure is about 500 bars, and the maximum speed piston is around 1 m/s.
