The V250CE series is made of short-stroke hydraulic cylinders with linear movement, aluminum bodies and single rod-ends (no passing-through rods). The standard version includes piston bores from 25 to 100 mm, and strokes from 20 to 80 mm. Its fixings allow for installation by means of through-holes along the length of the cylinder, or by means of pinned through-holes and a key.
Vega Cylinders is specialized in producing compact hydraulic cylinders for molds. The V250CE series has been designed for moving all those components—such as carts, pins, and plugs—that might produce undercuts in plastic injection molds.
These oil-dynamic short-stroke cylinders can boast a very competitive price, and are usually employed when molding cycles are not particularly fast and working temperatures are not excessively high.
However, it’s not suitable for moving ejection tables in injection molds.
These double acting hydraulic cylinder come with a 7075 aluminum alloy body, a chromium-molybdenum steel rod, and 7075 aluminum alloy piston.
Heat-insulating flanges are available to separate the cylinder itself from the carts, pins and plugs of the mold.
V250CE cylinders are compatible with ISO VG 46 mineral oil. The cartridge sealing system includes a scraper, three elastic rings, and two Viton O-rings. These components allow the cylinder sealing system to avoid metal contacts and to last over long periods of time. a lasting contactless sealing over time.
