VEM generators are manufacturing a non-salient or salient-pole machines with welded housing and brush-less excitation. The engines are armed as needed, with digital controllers and following monitoring systems. Almost all of the generators are utilizing sliding bearings with flange mounting, yet anti-friction bearings may be utilized for engines with a lower yield. Engines with specifically high yield also come with pedestal bearings. It has an output range of 500 to 30,000 kVA and a voltage range of 400 to 11,000 V.
