Description

In the blasting process, an air stream exiting at high speed is responsible for spreading the abrasive onto the surface of the workpiece. The Venjakob blasting systems are always designed for economical consumption of the abrasive and are versatile in use. Depending on the degree of soiling and surface condition, abrasive cleaning offers the possibility of using a variety of abrasives and thus a flexible adjustment of the cleaning process. Due to the strength of the abrasive blasting, the cleaning systems achieve a particularly thorough cleaning performance and serve as a basic cleaner of contaminated components. Advantages of abrasive blasting In the blasting process, an air stream exiting at high speed is responsible for spreading the abrasive onto the surface of the workpiece. The Venjakob blasting systems are always designed for economical consumption of the abrasive and are versatile in use. How blasting technology works To remove stubborn surface elements such as paints, rust, and patina from steel, an additional blasting medium such as sand, glass beads, corundum, nutshells, or plastic granules can be incorporated into the compressed-air blasting process. Alternatively, solid carbon dioxide (dry ice) can be added to the compressed-air blasting process Deburring with CO2 blasting technology This process is used to clean and deburr castings and sintered and thermoset parts, and we can offer you a whole host of CO2 snow blasting systems. AREA OF APPLICATIONS Abrasive methods are used to clean surfaces and prepare them optimally for bonding or coating processes.
