How blasting technology works
To remove stubborn surface elements such as paints, rust, and patina from steel, an additional blasting medium such as sand, glass beads, corundum, nutshells, or plastic granules can be incorporated into the compressed-air blasting process. Alternatively, solid carbon dioxide (dry ice) can be added to the compressed-air blasting process
