Description

The Rapide R17S is a part of the Verderflex® Rapide 'S' roster of industrial quality tube pumps. This efficiently designed pump is perfectly qualified for use in heavy-duty pumping applications involving highly viscous materials. It is a peristaltic tube pump. The pump is exceedingly easy to use and has a compact footprint, thus enabling easy installation in plants. It has a rugged design, is extremely dependable and is geared to provide continuous 24/7 service. These impressive features incorporated in the pump impart excellent cost-efficiency and very little maintenance. The highlight of the pump is the swift changing times of the latching tube. The pump design facilitates split second changing of the latching tube. Three rollers are fit into the pump head rotor with an optional fitting of six rollers to facilitate a low rate of pulsation. The pumps incorporate tubings with internal diameter ranges of 15.9 to 25.4 mm. Tubes can be manufactured in a choice of four diverse materials as per individual preferences and applications. The most widely used material for tubing in most applications is Verderprene that displays exceptional mechanical characteristics.
