The AVAUD series of wire rope shock absorbers is optimised for both vibration isolation and impact protection of suspended electrical/electronic equipment, thanks to its dual-level toroidal cable winding. More specifically, it combines a low vibration frequency with greater stiffness in response to impact, in accordance with the requirements of MIL-S-901D. The AVAUD vibration/shock isolators are designed to meet the needs and requirements of applications in the marine sector, but customised versions can be made for various fields, such as the protection of land-based military equipment. The structure is made entirely of stainless steel to ensure durability without variation of its elastic properties, eliminating any need for spare parts or replacements.
