Our Style 2 Butterfly Wing Nuts are manufactured from a resistant Thermoplastic and are paired with a Brass female or through thread, for screwing onto a threaded stud. Featuring a 'butterfly' style head, these provide excellent ergonomic properties for hand fastening uses, where a standard head Wing Nut may not offer sufficient grip. We recommended this Style 2 for most fastening uses, where a nut is required for additional security and integrity. We stock Style 2 Butterfly Wing Nuts in a range of standard sizes and metric thread options, anywhere from M5 to M10. Where required, we also stock threaded through Butterfly Wing Nuts, which enable the nut to be screwed in past it's head, which is blanked off with this style.
