Unlike our other forms of Castor Wheel, these feature a brake which can prevent the wheel from moving once locked, making them ideal for static uses. Braked Castor Wheels are most commonly installed onto heavy items of furniture or appliances to provide ease of movement and preventing the need for manual lifting. We stock these Castor Wheels for furniture in two different wheel types, including hard and soft. We suggest using soft versions on harder floors and hard versions for softer surfaces, such as carpet. There are also a variety of fitment options to choose from, including stemmed, threaded, and with a mounting plate. Please choose based on your requirements.
