VIPAM1250 is a digital protection relay that enables a high-precision measurement and protection relay for power receiving and sending equipment. VIPAM1250 has twotypes - current type (C type) and compound type (X type). With various protection functionality, this relay supports a variety of interfaces with the upper system resulting in anelectronic distribution panel solution.The operator can use VIPAM1250 with ease as various menus can be set on the LCD screen, and the Modbus RTU protocol that is widely used at industrial sites is applied. Inaddition, operation can be conducted such as apparatus setting, measurement, power monitoring, and setting value (relay element) saving/modification/recovery, throughthe D-Sub port located in front of VIPAM1250, using IED management software. Also, the fault wave data can be checked to analyze system faults.
