RETRACTABLE SPRAY BOOTH Retractable spray booths are designed for manual painting application with side-draft ventilation for filtering the applied liquid paint overspray. The advantage of retractable spray booths is space saving in the workshop. STRUCTURE It consists of a truss system body construction made of electro galvanised rectangular and circular pipe profiles, and externally covered with PVC fabric material. The movement system includes industrial wheels or rail and wheel system recommended according to outdoor or indoor use and the length of the spray booth. Curtain door is designed for closing the door during paint application. VENTILATION SYSTEM Side draft ventilation provides high efficiency during paint application. The filter wall is manufactured modularly from galvanised sheet metal and designed with shelves on both sides and an emergency door. The extraction fan placed on the top of the filter wall is selected with plastic propeller to prevent the risk of sparks. The electric motor is placed outside the fan duct and the motor has no direct contact with the polluted air. FILTRATION SYSTEM The extraction filter is used as a 2-stage with 99.9% efficiency, located on the side of the spray booth filter wall. There is a pre-filter in the door curtain that allows natural airflow intake when the extraction fan is running. The warning lamp on the control panel indicates the need for service when the filters are contaminated. CONTROL PANEL AND ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION The control panel consists of SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC branded switchgear and panel elements in accordance with international standards. The control panel is placed outside the ATEX zone.
