Magnetic proximity switches detect selective switching marks of ferromagnetic steel. Non-magnetic materials have no influence on the function of the proximity switches.
The encoders are characterised by robustness, high switching frequencies and high temperature stability. The use of closed metal housings permits nearly arbitrary pressure resistance to be obtained.
Distance sensors with a resolution in the micrometre range are available upon request. These are a combination of the magnetic principle of the proximity switch with low-noise, analogue signal electronics.
