Bare-wire hot air generator. A method of heating dry air. A bare heating wire is in direct contact with the air. This reduces the start-up time of the heater considerably (working temperature is reached in a few seconds) and allows high temperatures to be achieved from a small appliance. Supplied with or without a suitable blower, the appliance reliably produces the desired result. Generators can be used in
- an open circuit (sending out hot air) or in a closed circuit (to heat another system via a heat exchanger or a double-skinned casing).
- Closed-circuit models are fitted with fans and an offset motor, so as to withstand a high return temperature. In open-circuit use, we recommend an air filter at the turbine entry, to prolong the life of the heater (by reducing accumulation of dirt, and corrosion of the heater). Maximum output air temperature for generators : 250°C Suction fans are designed to operate in open or closed circuit with an air inlet temperature of 160 ° C max
