Description

DISCFLEX couplings are suitable for a range of industrial applications where torque is transmitted from the input shaft to the output shaft alternately through traction and compression of the flexible element. DISCFLEX benefits This VULKAN product offers the following benefits: High speed and torque transmission Small sizes Low weight Maintenance free High torsional stiffness Low axial and radial reaction forces Alternative to flexible coupling This is a suitable alternative to flexible couplings whenever the environmental conditions are detrimental to the elastomer. DISCFLEX couplings are suitable for operating temperatures of between -50 and 150 °C and comply with API 610 requirements. DISCFLEX DNZ-A special features DISCFLEX DNZ-A type couplings comply with API 671. The coupling’s flexible element is made of stainless steel membrane packets, designed using the latest FEM analysis procedures to ensure maximum displacement and torque transmission values in very small dimensions and with minimum reaction forces. The modular design stands for fast, safe and lubrication-free installation and minimum maintenance.
