A built-in load sensor detects unbalanced conditions and reduces rpm or stops the unit to protect samples. Audible and visual signals will activate if the system detects a tray obstruction or overload. To avoid sample loss, a ramping feature slowly increases speed to setpoint. In timed mode, an alarm will sound when the timer reaches the zero point. A polycarbonate lid permits viewing of samples without disturbing internal temperature. When the lid is opened, an automatic shutoff circuit will stop the platform operation. Each unit's spill-resistant design protects internal components from accidental spills and leaks. Tray and rubber mat are removable to allow for easy chamber cleaning. A caution symbol will illuminate when air temperature in the chamber reaches 40°C (104°F). This symbol remains lit until the chamber temperature cools.
