• Reliably prevents ice formation and snow buildup
• Ensures safe movement for people and vehicles in winter
• Multiple applications (e.g., parking lots, driveways)
• Saves the hassle of laborious snow shoveling
• Pre-assembled mats for quick and easy installation
• Suitable for installation in cast asphalt
Application:
As an electric ice and snow melting system designed for open spaces such as driveways, ramps, pathways, or parking lots, these heating mats enable safe movement for individuals and vehicles in both private and public areas. With a power output of 300 W/m², they rapidly and effectively eliminate existing ice and snow formations while also effectively preventing their recurrence. This holds true not only in winter but also during transitional weather with freezing conditions. The heating cable withstands short-term exposure to high temperatures of up to 240°C, allowing the mat to be installed even in cast asphalt.
Construction:
The EcoFROST-MT heating mats consist of a fixed-resistance heating cable with a temperature-resistant polyolefin outer jacket. They come with a 5m long cold lead and a connection sleeve. The heating cable is factory-arranged in a meandering pattern on a flexible grid-like support fabric and fixed with adhesive tape, ensuring uniform cable-to-cable spacing. The installation width of the heating mat is 0.5 m. The aluminum band covering the cable internally provides additional mechanical strength, serving as grounding along with a copper braid for safe operation. The two-core construction with just one connection wire significantly simplifies on-site installation.
