Description

Conveyors are an important part of any internal transport system that handles goods. Such a system may also include packing tables, tilting tables, lift tables and turntables. The conveyor system is usually part of a packaging or handling line that starts with case erecting and ends with pallet wrapping. Belt conveyors are suitable for both horizontal and inclined transport. These conveyors can have different surfaces and beds. In terms of surfaces, the two main ones are smooth and rough belts. Both are excellent solutions for inclined conveying, but smooth belts work best with inclines of up to 10°, while rough belts can handle inclines of up to 28°. As far as support beds are concerned, there are two types available: roller base and plate base. The plate base is suitable for conveying light items over short distances, while the roller base is best for conveying items over 5 metres.
