The scissor conveyor, also called roller lift table or pallet transfer station, is an extra-flat lift table with integrated roller or chain conveyor. Thanks to its low folded height of 80 mm, there is no need for forklift trucks, as it can be fed directly with a pallet truck, or the construction of a pit, which results in great cost savings. It allows the pallet to be transferred at the height of the roller conveyor up to a maximum height of 1200mm. This equipment is made to measure, following the special specifications of each customer. We have several types of scissor conveyors: split roller, trident or U-shaped, whose structure allows the pallet truck fork to enter; full roller, which is the one that maintains the transport level at the necessary height to continue moving the load. Finally, we have the chain scissor conveyor, suitable for cross pallets or special ‘Chep’ type skids. As far as the finish is concerned, it can be lacquered, galvanised or stainless steel. As for the type of transmission, they can be equipped with a high-performance hydraulic unit or driven by a spindle with geared motor; we can also offer these conveyors adapted for use at extreme temperatures, for example, in cold stores at -30ºC. Of course, they are supplied with protective casing and all the necessary sensors, in accordance with all European safety regulations.
