The turners are machines created for turning heavy or large loads, which, by means of automatic movements, manage to place the load in the desired direction or position. Our turners are state-of-the-art machines, with drives controlled by frequency variators. Their operation, automatic or semi-automatic, can be carried out through control desks, by means of a control computer or PLC. The turners usually handle the load directly in contact with the product, on pallets or on the customer's own tools. The loads available in our catalogue of turners range from 500 to 25,000 kg. They can also be prepared to work in environments with extreme temperatures, such as rolling mills or foundries reaching 120ºC or freezing chambers at -30ºC. Constructively, the most important parts of a turner are: - The lower frame, which is the assembly responsible for supporting the cradle. - The turning system, which is fixed to the floor or to a base platform, supporting the weight of both the load and the rest of the devices that make up the turner. - The cradle or turning platform is the element that contains the load tank and the extraction system if necessary. The loads are transported on it during the different operations. - The extraction system consists of the devices that allow the autonomous entry or exit of the load from the turner to the adjoining conveyors. Normally, it consists of roller or chain conveyors mounted on the cradle.
