Moss etc. should be removed by scraping and/or jet washing and the surface left to dry thoroughly. Watco Black Top Application The product should be applied by roller in one coat. Avoid flooding the surface since this could lead to some temporary softening of the asphalt and extend the drying time of the coating, apply no more than 1.5mm thick. A brush may be used for edges, but again avoid applying too thickly. Small pits and fissures can be filled with a stiff mortar consisting of dry sand and the product. Pits and fissures should be primed with the product before trowelling in the mortar.
