The remote temperature is dedicated to temperature measurement in buildings, temperature-controlled rooms, cooling towers, and transmits the data over a public or private LoRaWAN® radio network.
LoRaWAN®, Class A
Easy to install and use
Remote temperature probe (NTC)
Instant temperature measurements
Min/Max/Mean temperature measurement over 24 hours (DDU)
Differential data compression
12 years of autonomy (data compression mode)
Applications:
Use case: monitoring the temperature of domestic hot water (DHW) systems
Temperature monitoring of a water system (DHW, heating water outlet / return, chilled water production).
Cold room monitoring.
Temperature control in an industrial process: paint line, flue temperature.
The remote temperature sensor periodically measures and transmits the temperature as well as any alarms for exceeding pre-configured temperature thresholds, via a public or private LoRaWAN® communication network.
It is dedicated to the supervision of hot spots (industrial equipment, multi-fluid piping, etc.), cold spots (temperature-controlled rooms, cooling towers, etc.) and the temperature of buildings (industrial and tertiary).
The sensor is also capable of transmitting the temperatures (average, minimum, maximum) measured over a 24-hour period. This makes it possible to calculate the unified degree days (UDD), an indicator for monitoring the energy consumption of a building.
