The Ventil’O measures the vacuum established by outdoor ventilation chambers.
It regularly transmits its data over the public or private LoRaWAN® radio network.
The Ventil'O LoRaWAN® sensor is a battery-operated embedded system that monitors central ventilation units by periodically taking vacuum measurements.
Data transmission on the private or public LoRaWAN® network is done periodically (configurable):
- Calculated average of measured depressions,
- Measured minimum and maximum pressure,
- Low battery voltage ,
- Triggering the input (if used),
- or immediately, following measurement, in the event of a threshold exceedance alert.
Battery powered, the sensor has a life of over 10 years when configured with a vacuum measurement every 15 minutes and a transmission every 6 hours.
The sensor is installed outdoors near the housing. It should be mounted under cover so that it is not subject to rapid temperature changes (sunlight, rainfall, etc.) which may affectthe quality of the measurement.
