Frequently used for process water disinfection and livestock drinking water disinfection
✓ Unique ECA technology ✓ No residues ✓ Biodegradable
The Watter system has been developed to produce a sustainable disinfectant (HOCl) on site from just electricity, water and salt. This disinfecting agent eliminates pathogenic bacteria, moulds, yeasts and viruses without the use of harmful chemicals. The disinfectant is biodegradable and can be does in very low concentrations. This is the solution for continuous biofilm control.
The Watter system is more effective than most traditional disinfectants and is safe for humans, animals and the environment. We find it important that means are used in the right way and that the focus is on good guidance by our own microbiologists. By offering our disinfection device users become independent from their current chemical supplier and we prevent under- and over dosage of harmful chemicals.
How does it work?
The Watter system uses a technology called electrochemical activation (ECA). This process results in a disinfectant with HOCl as the active substance. HOCl demonstrates high effectiveness even in low concentrations, which minimizes the quantity of usage while still providing great results.
This makes it possible to disinfect effectively without health risks. Consider, for example, the drinking water supply for animals, process water in the food industry or legionella and biofilm control in medical facilities.
