Pickling gel for AISI 300 series stainless steel. Pickling is the basic treatment to eliminate traces of oxide due to thermal changes. Pickling is not a simple aesthetic action that serves to remove the 'black of the weld'. In fact, good pickling has the task of removing the depleted chromium layer due to thermal alteration, a critical area for corrosive attack as it is unprotected. Only as a side effect bleach the weld. WE DEK 100 GEL is a pickling gel for stainless steel 300 series excluding AISI 303. It allows the pickling of both weld-only strokes and the entire surface. It can be used by spreading it with antiacid brushes or dispensing it with a polypropylene diaphragm pump (using the WE DEK 100 GEL SPRAY spray version). It is recommended not to use the product in direct sunlight and not to work on surfaces that are too hot, in which case it is advisable to cool them with waste water.
