Stainless steel passivation WE PASS 50 L PU

Passivating liquid for AISI 300 and 400 series stainless steel. Nitrates and Citrates free. After decontaminating the artefact from possible pollutants, the stainless steel remains without any protection and therefore exposed to aggressive external attacks. Passivation makes it possible to restore the surface chromium oxide layer that had been impoverished or polluted by processing. Passivation is essential in order to guarantee the stainless steel. WE PASS 50 L PU is a passivating liquid for stainless steel 300 and 400 series for specific spray use. Through its action, the entire surface will be passivated. The product is ready-to-use and is free of Nitrates and Citrates. In order to achieve uniformity and effectiveness of the treatment, the artefacts should be degreased/decontaminated and pickled prior to treatment. Note: For a perfect and correct passivation treatment it is necessary that the artefacts are previously degreased and, where appropriate, pickled.
