Degreasing liquid - deoxidiser for 300 series and Duplex stainless steel. It consists of the removal of traces of oil, fats and other contaminants due to processing. Degreasing of the artefact must be done before any other chemical intervention, as the presence of these contaminants can inhibit the effect of the pickling agent and produce stains on the treated surface. WE VMDA POWER is a liquid degreaser-deoxidiser for stainless steel; it is also used as a derusting to deoxidise any ferrous traces from stainless steel surfaces. It is formulated without hydrofluoric acid, in order to avoid the danger due to the toxicity of the said acid. It is an important treatment because in addition to removing the processing fat, it depollutes and improves the aesthetic appearance of the surfaces, tending to enhance the pre-existing polishing. WE VMDA POWER is used before pickling to remove any pollution residue.
