Electric Handheld Screwdriver with Automatic Feed System
The WEBER HSE handheld system embodies the flexibility that WEBER is renowned for. This device can accommodate any DC electric motor or DC torque and angle system, which can be attached to the back of the handheld unit. The fast self-advancing automatic bit stroke mechanism enables the quickest installation in the industry. When the start button on the handpiece is pressed, the self-advancing bit moves forward out of the jaws, exposing the bit and fastener while simultaneously activating the rotation of the DC tool. As the bit and fastener are exposed, the operator gains improved visibility and creates additional clearance from the parts automatically.
Upon completion of the cycle, the next screw is already loaded into the handpiece, and the system enters a Bitlock position to prevent the fastener from falling back into the system, ensuring the tip remains positively exposed for accurate operator targeting. The ease of use and extremely rugged construction enhance the legendary reliability associated with WEBER products.
Customization is available for most systems to ensure optimal functionality for each fastener size and style. The single inlet air supply significantly outperforms competitor products, which often require multiple hoses and sensor wires to achieve similar movements. Additionally, this device features a start button proximity sensor that provides input to a PLC for precise “on-demand” control. There are also several variations of jaw designs available for this product to facilitate easier access to challenging applications.
