Description

The WEH® TW152 Quick connector is designed to achieve easier and more efficient filling of oxygen cylinders. Due to its compact design, TW152 is also suitable for use in confined spaces as for example for oxygen cylinders with protection cap. The operation is quite simple: place the connector onto the external thread of the cylinder valve and pull the sliding sleeve forward. The split collet design system locks securely onto the standard thread of the cylinder valve. The pressure-tight connection is made. Advanced safety features offer additional protection for the operator: - Integrated locking mechanism prevents disconnection under pressure - Venting bores in the sliding sleeve for lateral venting of oxygen in case of accidental gas leakage thus reducing the risk of spontaneous ignition The TW152 is available as inline or 90° version and can be connected to cylinder valves with or without residual pressure valve. This quick connector is available for gas cylinder valves acc. to DIN, BS, NF, CGA etc. Connectors for oxygen applications are oxygen cleaned and free of oil and grease.
