The "small, clever" magnetic level indicator for pressures up to 50 bar (5 Mpa)
Only with the WEKA principle of the lying bar magnet is it possible to construct a magnet system that has the necessary magnetic force to bridge wall thicknesses that resist 50 bar at a weight covering measurable fluid densities of 0.55 g/ccm and above.
Based on this small, lightweight float, it is possible to produce a magnetic visual level indicator with a tube diameter of an inch, i.e. 33.7 mm.
Thanks to the slim design, steel is saved, which lowers the manufacturing costs but also saves on transportation costs.
Since, as with all our devices, we observe the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), the lower volume plays a major role, as it results in lower categories and a lower test workload.
SmartLine – an intelligent solution for level measurement!
Here, too, EN and ANSI connections are already included as standard. Whether flange, thread or welding ends, the basic type including the connections can be determined with simple pressure/temperature diagrams (p/T diagrams). Since there is the suitable float for all types, which WEKA chooses according to the process data, all that remains is the selection of the gauge bar, whose variety is available for all types.
With one or more magnetic switches as accessories, the fill level indicator can be upgraded to an indicator with level switches. Additionally, a transducer can be installed on the magnetic visual level indicator, in order to generate a continuous electric signal that can be evaluated in a control system.
