In the LowDensityLine, WEKA has a product in its portfolio that was adapted to the special circumstances of petrochemistry and the refrigerant industry.
In a pressure range up to 50 bar (5 MPa), fluids with densities as of 0.27 g/cm3 can be displayed.
The float with the lying bar magnet and the extended diameter of the float chamber also serve as a basis here. Many years ago, WEKA was the first manufacturer to develop the spherical float. Owing to the optimally pressure resistant geometry of the sphere, a float could be designed in titanium that is suitable for the highest pressures without increasing the internal pressure. Thus, WEKA can choose between a large number of float types for diverse parameters.
Of course, this design also covers the requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).
WEKA offers a standard even for the lowest fluid densities!
Whether flange, thread or welding ends, the basic type including connections can be determined with simple pressure/temperature diagrams (p/T diagrams). Since there is the suitable float for all types, which WEKA chooses according to the process data, all that remains is the selection of the gauge bar, whose variety is available for all types.
With one or more magnetic switches as accessories, the fill level indicator can be upgraded to an indicator with level switches. Additionally, a transducer can be installed on the magnetic visual level indicator, in order to generate a continuous electric signal that can be evaluated in a control system.
Here, the whole range of 2 and 3-conductor devices, in normal or explosion-proof versions (ATEX / IECEx), and a wide variety of temperature
