Waste transports over large distances, such as to disposal sites, incinerators or recycling plants, using conventional waste collection vehicles can no longer be justified, for cost reasons. This makes it advisable in most cases to install a transfer station. We manufacture transfer stations for waste transport with roll-on/off containers, or with special transport vehicles. A container transfer station consists of a high-performance compactor, a traversing system for the containers, a loading hopper, as well as the appropriate number of containers. The net weight of the containers can be determined using scales during or after the compaction process. The compactors can be equipped with various additional functions, such as hydraulic coupling, various sliding plates, light barriers and many more. Our transfer stations are obviously designed in accordance with local statutory regulations, in order to guarantee the maximum possible level of safety for the user. This includes safety functions such as light barriers, entry barriers, visible and audible warning signals and many more.
Werner & Weber transfer stations are adapted to your precise requirements. Our product range includes transfer compactors with a fixed, series design, or we can produce a machine tailored precisely to your specific requirements. However, all Werner & Weber transfer compactors have one thing in common: they are extremely robust and sturdy machines, manufactured from special, highly wear-resistant alloys, and designed for hard, continuous use.
