Dissolver with agitator DUO

The DUO-Dissolver is designed for operation in closed systems and is available up to 250 kW.It has two permanent mixing shafts situated in two fixed vessels. One of the shafts is in operation while the other is at stand by or both shaft in simultaneous operation. The DUO has a more compact design than other Dissolvers and is often the only solution in factories with limited head clearances or narrow working space. The DUO-Dissolver has infinite speed control by means of frequency inverter. The Dissolver head is raised and lowered by means of a remote controlled hydraulic cylinder. Options The DUO can be adapted to the customer’s production needs with regards to charge sizes, local conditions, power requirements, corrosive products or transport systems for pigments. The DUO can be equipped with an electronic load governor (WPC), controlling both impeller speed and level in accordance with production requirements. The control panel can be fitted with additional equipment other than our standard fittings. We offer a vessel scraper with one or three arms, having exchangeable blades of Teflon. More about options Mixing vessels Our vessels can be manufactured to meet most requirements. For extremely small batches the Westerlin specially designed bottom is an alternative to the traditional conical bottom. Vessels can be manufactured in mild, stainless or specially resistant steel, and can be equipped with heating/cooling jacket or other fittings required by customer. Vessel cover The vessel cover is often the most customized part of the DUO-Dissolver.
