Power over Ethernet (PoE) module PII-2G

The PII-2G is an advanced, high-end Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector, combining high performance with industrial robustness. It is suitable for PoE applications such as video surveillance and other applications where end devices are to be supplied with power through the Ethernet cable. The PII-2G features dual injection ports with gigabit capability. As opposed to many power supplies delivered with PDs (Powered Devices), the full compliance with IEEE 802.3af/at ensures protection for over current/short circuit and over/under voltage, thus protecting PDs from damage. The unit can easily be clipped onto a standard DIN rail alongside other industrial equipment in a cabinet. No configuration of the device is needed. All that is required is a suitable power supply to make PoE functionality available on the network.
