The Toughsonic 30' Ultrasonic Sensors measure level and distance through the air using ultrasonic sound waves. They provide fast, reliable non-contact measurements at distances up to 30 feet, with an optimum range of 10" to 20 feet. These sensors come standard with 316 stainless steel housings, ruggedized piezoelectric ultrasonic transducers, epoxy potting, rear status indicators, and a permanently attached 2 meter cable. They are rugged and IP68 immersion-rated for use indoors and out. Maximum Range: 30 feet (9.1 m) Optimum Range: 10" inches - 20 feet Housing: 316 Stainless Steel Mounting: 1.5" NPT Threads (Adapters available) Outputs: 5 + serial data Operating Temperature: -40 to +158°F (-40 to +70°C Each sensor includes WhitmanVIEW ultrasonic sensor configuration and analysis software, which provides the end-user the ability to calibrate and optimize the sensor, display data, and verify performance. The software is included on a USB with the $99 setup kits. This software provides real-time output using a variety of statistical and display tools, but is not a requirement for using our ultrasonic sensors. Several sensor options are available including our CHEM line for use in corrosive liquids and gasses.
