Description

Windmoller & Holscher TRANSYSTEMS automated elements for material flow is used for interconnecting logistics of tubers and bottomers. Based on specific production needs, either storage belts or automatic tube storage systems are available. Thanks to the TRANS-TOWER, the bottomer never runs out of tube supply. Sack packets are fed to the ARCOMAT 2 robot palletiser or to the ROTASAC bag-on-a-roll winder by the TRANSYSTEMS elements. This is done at the downstream of the bottomer. Final pressing of sack packets can also be done with the elements. TRANSYSTEMS provides several advantages. The increased bottomer output improves productivity. Also there are labor savings and savings in capital locked up in semi-finished products. The configuration is very space-friendly. Both semi-finished and finished products are protected from any in-plant handling and transport damages. The systems remove repetitive and physically taxing work. This results in lower health-related expenses. The system can adapt to any on-site installation requirements. Another highlight is the near-unlimited add-on capability. This includes not only older machines, but also machines not made by W&H.
