Description

The motors of this product line are completely enclosed and have a high protection class. Cooling of the motors takes place on the surface of the housing by means of an axial fan (IC 411 or IC 416) or without a fan by self-cooling of the surface (IC 410). The mounting dimensions are identical to those of corresponding 3 -phase motors or can be altered to requirements. In this product line, the use of a compensating coil guarantees a high dynamic response. Sample applications: - Braking motors - Geared motors - Standby drives - Traversing devices with a high protection class - Outside installation is also possible on special request Areas of application: Direct current motors with protection class ratings from IP 44 to IP 55 are especially suited for use in damp, extremely dirty or aggressive environments where a high level of protection is necessary. Cooling can take place according to engine speed by means of self-cooling on the surface or independently of engine speed by a forced ventilation fan. Depending on the specific use, the drives can be equipped with brake, engine speed sensor or gearbox as well as various monitoring devices.
