Rastered print data for platemaking (TIF) is processed centrally on the wSoftproof server. This means that the softproof pages are available simultaneously at all workstations in the network. The information for checking content in the editorial and advertising departments is identical to the template for sampling on the press. Central generation and management of softproof data The wSoftproof-Server centrally calculates the data for control and color-accurate proofing. External clients of the printing plant can also be included in the quality workflow via the web portal. Print templates in softproof The wSoftproof-Client displays the pages clearly. The editorial structure is displayed in the left-hand area and allows you to switch quickly between different products. The thumbnail display of the pages allows an initial content check. Detailed inspection The page view of the wSoftproof Client provides tools for checking color, color composition and the exact dimensions of a page. Saved auxiliary lines allow a quick overview. Bitmap comparison helps to identify differences between the versions of a page.
