Metal ring production for the brush industry
The automatic ring rolling machine RWA 980 produces U- and V-shaped metal rings.
The profile is wound out of the machine as a spiral and finally cut to length.
In a following process the ends of the rings are manually laid over another and welded together with a spot welding machine.
The band is fed into the machine by two transport rolls. The required winding diameter can be flexible set by means of the bending roll.
As an option 1 or 2 holes can be punched for the later fitting of drive pins.
Diverse profile types, e.g. for distance rings, can be produced on the machine by means of various different profile rolls.
