A particularly robust welded steel frame forms the backbone of the MTB 1000. The machine concept of the MTB 1000 has been optimised for brush manufacturers and comprises sliding doors, allowing the easy loading of roll brushes either by crane from above or directly from the front. The trimmer can be tilted by 90°, allowing the effective trimming of disk brushes too.
The quick clamping system for loading brushes consists of the chuck on the drive side right and der pneumatically operated tailstock centre on the left.
The tailstock is electrically driven for easy operation.
Cut waste is collected in easily emptied waste trays and all guide elements are effectively protected against soiling.
Standard programs are already installed for trimming roll brushes with cylindrical, concave and convex contours,
as well as disk brushes.
A CNC control with touch screen allows CNC (socalled G-function) data to be processed and any required contour trimmed. G-function data can be readily loaded from any CAM program.
A large program memory is available for recipe management.
The MTB 1000 is available in two models with a loading length of 9.8 ft (3.0 m) and 17.4 ft (5.3 m).
