The outdoor serial RS485 to NB-IoT gateway SCB111-485-NB-DC reads data from RS485 RTU devices or sensors and sends it to the cloud server in MQTT protocol by NB-IoT or LTE Cat M1 cellular network. To ensure data security, the communications are with AES128-bit encryption. The gateway can connect to max. 25 RTU devices or sensors. The field configuration is done by MicroUSB with Windows utility and ThingsMaster OTA can monitor the device status remotely. The gateway is designed in a compact, palm-size IP54 outdoor enclosure to connect standard 2-wires RS485 RTU devices.
