The ES101UW ultrasonic wind speed and direction sensor employs four ultrasonic probes that continuously transmit and receive ultrasonic waves within a two-dimensional plane. It calculates wind speed and direction by analyzing the time differential between the propagation of ultrasonic waves in the air. With the built-in electronic compass, the orientation is no longer required during the installation; it only needs to be installed horizontally. The high-quality ABS enclosure features lightweight, no moving parts, durability, and no maintenance or on-site calibration is needed. It can simultaneously output wind speed and wind direction and is widely applicable in the measurement of wind speed and wind direction in various fields such as meteorology, oceanography, environmental monitoring, airports, ports, laboratories, agriculture, and transportation.
