The Workswell BB200 is a highly accurate black-body radiation source for infrared thermography. The BB200 offers continuous temperature settings from 30°C-200°C (86 °F to 392 °F), with a 0.1°C (0.18 °F) single step. Its surface, a 100mm-diameter, temperature-stabilized area, is designed with pyramid shapes that increase emission stability and reduce reflective effects. With a surface emissivity of 0.95 ±0.005 for the LWIR spectrum and a long-term time stability that is better than ±0.08%, the BB200 takes thermography to the next level. SIMPLE AND COST-EFFECTIVE CALIBRATOR
This black-body meets the demand for a simple, cost-effective, high-accuracy calibrator for thermal cameras used to screen febrile subjects. The unit’s mounting hole accommodates a standard 1/4-20 UNC thread, and its housing material is a special Teflon body with aluminum parts. The BB200’s temperature value can be saved to the device’s memory, which loads automatically when connected to a power supply. The BB200 is also equipped with OLED display for visualizing both set and actual surface temperature values.
We designed the BB200 to play a critical role within the Workswell MEDICAS thermal imaging system, which is aligned with IEC 80601-2-59 and ISO 16142 standards.
