The Model WFG-130 is a type of a magnetonometer that is encased within a rectangular package, with the dimensions of 1.5\" x 1.5\" x 2.775\". It provides three analog voltages, corresponding the magnetic field in three orthogonal ways. Its full scale output is ±10 volts and constitutes a magnetic field of ±5 Gauss.
The system is easy to set up and operate, and is made portable. It also has an optional active failure recognition system to detect any deterrents that may occur in either of the three fluxgate sensors. The failure system can be activated by applying a low-level magnetic signal to each fluxgate sensor, and then detecting the presence of the signal in each of the fluxgate output channels.
