For Measurements on Automotive Interior Parts
X-Rite's ERX31 Laboratory Spectrophotometer can measure a variety of samples, including buttons, panels, leather, plastic foils, metal, textiles, carpet and more for the automotive industry.
The ability to accurately and consistently measure color across a wide range of materials is critical in the automotive laboratory environment. The ERX31 spectrophotometer is well suited for applications where extreme precision and high resolution color measurement are needed to measure everything from buttons to panels including leather, plastic foils, metal, textiles, carpet and more.
The ERX31 uses a special wavelength calibration to guarantee accurate absolute measurements now, tomorrow, and in many years. It can be mounted on a laboratory stand or used for portable applications. The triggering button captures fast and easy measurements, which is especially useful for averaging multiple measurements.
With a 45°:0° measurement geometry and 10mm diameter measurement area, the ERX31 views color in much the same way as the human eye. The ERX31 delivers true 1 nm spectral measurement resolution, excellent measurement accuracy, and long-term stability. Positioning is aided by illuminating the target space, helpful for targeting textured fabrics and small samples like buttons.
