Oval gear flowmeters are high-precision metering instruments used for continuous measurement of liquid flow in pipelines. It has many advantages such as large measuring range, small pressure loss, strong viscosity adaptability, can measure high temperature, high viscosity liquid, convenient calibration, easy installation, etc. It is the representative product of positive displacement flowmeter. LC series oval gear flowmeter is equipped with on-site pointer display and word wheel cumulative counting device, which can directly display the cumulative flow of liquid flowing through the pipeline. It is especially suitable for the metering of refined oil products. It is widely used in the flow measurement of non-corrosive media in petroleum, chemical, chemical fiber, transportation, commerce, food, medicine and health and other industrial sectors. Installation and Operation A strainer should be installed in front of the meter, and be sure that the arrows on the casting of the meter and the strainer pointing the same direction of the liquid flow. If the metered media contains gas, a gas separator should be installed in front of the meter. Whether the pipe line is vertically or horizontally installed, the wheel’s shaft of the meter must be fixed horizontal, that is, the dial is vertical to the surface. While the meter is installed properly, the counter may be turned 180°or 90°for easy reading.
