Introduction
The ultrasonic distance sensor transmits the ultrasonic pulse to the measured object, and then returns the echo formed by the measured object to the receiving sensor, so as to obtain the time difference between the transmitting and receiving, and then the distance between the transducer and the measured medium surface can be obtained according to the sound speed in the medium. So we can calculate the distance between the transducer and the reflector of the medium D=C*t/2, divided by 2 because the ultrasonic wave travels twice the distance between the transducer and the medium when it is transmitted and received. (D is distance, C is speed of sound, and t is time).
