4 - 20mA RS485 Dual Output Radar Level Sensor For Continuous Level Measurement
Introduction
Radar level sensor for measuring at 80GHz frequency. Radar beams have unique focusing capabilities. Compared with 26G or 6G radar, it has the characteristics of higher frequency, shorter wavelength, smaller beam angle and more concentrated energy. Even in vessels with built-in parts such as heating coils or stirring devices, the sensor provides reliable measurement results, and deposits on the vessel inner walls do not affect the precise measurement results.
KLD801 80G radar level gauge adopts frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) technology. The antenna transmits a high-toned frequency-modulated radar signal, which increases linearly in frequency. The transmitted radar signal is received by the same antenna after being reflected by the measured medium. At the same moment, the frequency difference between the transmitted signal frequency and the received signal frequency is proportional to the measured distance. The collected frequency difference signal is subjected to fast Fourier transform (FFT) to obtain the spectrum of the reflected echo, and the distance to the lunar target to be measured is calculated based on this.
Feature
Compared with 26G or 6G radar, 80G radar has the characteristics of higher frequency, shorter wavelength, smaller beam angle and more concentrated energy. Coupled with the application of FMCW technology, it has the following characteristics:
Large measuring range, small blind zone
The beam angle is small, the antenna size is small, and it is easy to install. Affected by the size of the tank connection, obstacles are small
