Description

Bend insensitive single-mode fiber manufactured by YOEC is geometrical small and bend insensitive. It can maintain good optical performance under the condition with small bending radius and can meet the requirements of small size optical cables and devices. It is widely used in fiber hydrophone industry, which can be specially designed to meet the customer requirements for mode field diameter, cutoff wavelength and bending sensitivity. YOEC uses FCVD process to manufacture such series of preform rod with the advantages such as low hydroxyl, high NA value and strong optical uniformity. The double layer UV curable acrylate coating of optical fiber is specially designed for the optical devices with small bending radius, which reduces the loss of micro-bending and shows excellent optical performance. And at the same time, it has the characteristics of high tensile strength and long term fatigue resistance. Advantages ● Low additional bend loss ● Good geometric uniformity & low attenuation ● High reliability under bending ● Double UV coating structure Application ● Fiber optic hydrophone ● Devices & optical cables with strict bending radius demanding ● Sensor parts ● Data signal transmission Customization Information ● Optical fibers with special coatings & outer diameters can be customized. ● Optical fibers with special mode field diameter & attenuation can be customized. ● Optical fibers with proof tension of 200kpsi can be customized. ● Optical fibers can be colored.
